Boy Scout Troop 318 is chartered at North Raleigh United Methodist Church.  Our Troop is always looking for new members.  To be a member of Boy Scouts of America you need to be 11 thru 17 years old.  The Troop is an energetic group that enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, canoeing, water sports, and much more.  If you enjoy these activities, or if you have never experienced these activities and would like to try them out, come visit us on Monday's at 7:00 pm and learn how you can start expanding your horizons.

Who attends:   Adults (and older scouts who are interested) going on the Memorial Day beach Trip  
 
This room is located in the bottom part of the main church.  Go in the main door and take the stairs down. 
 
PLC Mtg on Sunday May 18th

There will be a special PLC mtg on Sunday May 18th (THIS SUNDAY), from 4-7pm. The purpose of this special session is to lay out an 18 month long-range plan for the troop. Contact Mr Lammons (scoutmaster@nctroop318.com) if questilons.

UPDATE - First Aid Merit Badge Class scheduled

The date for this merit badge class is now set to Sunday June 8th from 2-5pm. Location is the Gym at NRUMC. This class will be led by Ms. Stanley (cstanley25@nc.rr.com). Watch your email for more information.

 
June 2nd - Troop Pot Luck dinner and Summer Camp swim check

Troop Pot Luck dinner will be held Monday, June 2nd along with Summer Camp swim check for summer camp participants. Dinner and swim check will be held at the Greystone Swim Club, 1115 Sawmill Rd, Raleigh. Contact Catherine Lull for more info. See calendar for further detail and a map link.

 
UPDATE - Troop 318 Memorial Weekend Beech Trip

This trip has been opened to all scouts in the troop. This is a VERY primitive trip and not a family event. Departure is planned for VERY early on the morning on Friday 5/23 and return on Mon afternoon 5/26. See calendar entry for latest info.
